How often are reunions held?
Each class decides how often to hold their reunions. Often, the first one is held 10 years after graduation, with a reunion held every 5 years after the first one.
How do I organize a reunion?
 The first step is to set up a committee of former classmates who are also interested in a reunion. The Community Education Foundation may be able to help you with contact information of classmates who live in this area so that you can make contact to initiate your committee.
The next step is to set a date that would be as convenient as possible for as many former classmates as possible. You might want to think of travelers and look at air fare specials to help determine a good date.
A budget for your reunion will be an important aspect of your planning. You will want to consider the economic status of your classmates as you begin looking for a location and planning the activities. Your committee will work with you to set up your actual plans.
Some classes have reunions with activities that cover a couple of days and include picnics and dinners. Others have just an evening or afternoon event. Some classes met every five years. Some of our classes that graduated 40 or more years ago may even meet monthly at lunch to keep in contact. Your committee will work to determine what will work best for your classmates.

What time of year are reunions held?
Reunions can be held at any time of year that seems most convenient for your former classmates. Early summer through middle fall seem to be the most popular times for reunions.
What should I bring to a class reunion?
Your committee will let you know if you need to bring anything to your reunion. Some reunions have rather extensive pictures and displays from the highs school years and will invite you to send pictures and memorabilia. Others just have you come and enjoy spending time with each other.
